As much as I didn't want to do it, I've finally decided to switch to a community. It's getting to be a huge pain in the ass logging in and out of this journal and my regular one to work on translations.

If you'd like to continue to keep up with my translations, scans, etc., please join dearclone. All of the entries from this journal have been repost over there, so there's no need to keep this journal friended.

Sorry for jumping around years and months with these translations. Now that I made the index, hopefully that'll help string these together a little better so you can follow the back-and-forth messages.

A lot of people have very kindly offered to scan their Wink Up message board pages for me to translate, so I'm putting together an index of what scans I have, what issues I'm working on, and what issues I've already finished to make things less confusing.

I'm still up for any suggestions / votes you guys have for translations you'd like to see, but I have a long-term project that I'll be staring on that I wanted to let you guys know about :) From now on, I will be translating the Wink Up Message Board segments - any and all that I can get my hands on. So far two people have been really generous and scanned pages from several issues for me, so I'll be starting on those...right now :D

I wouldn't make a post just to announce this though...I have ulterior motives XD Do any of you know places that regularly scan Wink Up message board pages, or have old ones? They're quick and easy to do, and fun to read so I'd like to make as big of a collection as I can :)

For those of you who have been reading the 55 questions interview, sorry it's been taking me so long. Right around the time I got the magazine and could finish translating work got super busy. I've been doing a line here and there over the past few weeks, but I'll try to get the rest done as soon as I can.

I also just got caught up on adding people back. If you didn't get friended back, it's because your journal looked like a bot/sock/suspicious to me. Just leave me a message and let me know you're a real person and not a troll and I'll be glad to add you back!

Finally, after I finish the magazine I'd like to do some larger scale translations. Here's stuff I'm thinking of, give me your input! What do you guys most want to see?

Just a few notes to people who have this journal friended.

1. About Mediafire. I don't like it. MU doesn't always work for you? Well MF gives me problems. I don't have an account there (paid OR free), so if I upload there the file links won't last very long anyway. So please don't ask me for MF links from now on. If someone else wants to make MF mirrors to anything I upload, I will gladly post them, but I won't be posting any myself. Sorry for those it inconveniences.

2. About being friended back. Sorry I've been kind of slow at this lately. I've started checking journals that friend me - don't worry, I don't read all of your personal entries. I just check to see if you HAVE entries, or if you show general signs of being a real person. If I haven't added you back, just leave me a comment somewhere so I know you're not one of the journals created just to cause trouble or some person at JE chasing me down XD

They send these out through email all the time, though usually they're pretty uninteresting, just stuff like "Don't forget to watch So-and-so's drama! Btw Aiba is still on Tensai every week just in case you forgot!" But I thought some of the stuff in this one was interesting (or at least good news for me XD) so I'm sharing.
